| Mode of action | 1.Glyphosate is a kind of non selective, non residue, and has been widely used in rubber, mulberry, tea, orchard and sugarcane fields. 2.It mainly inhibits enol acetonyl mangostin phosphate synthetase in plants, thus inhibiting the transformation of mangostin to phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan, which interferes with protein synthesis and leads to plant death. 3.Glyphosate is absorbed by stems and leaves and transmitted to all parts of plants. It can control more than 40 families of plants, such as monocotyledons and dicotyledons, annual and perennial, herbs and shrubs. 4.Glyphosate will quickly combine with iron, aluminum and other metal ions and lose its activity. |
