        Indoxacarb has a unique mechanism of action. It is rapidly converted into DCJW (N.2 demethoxycarbonyl metabolite) in the insect body. DCJW acts on the inactive voltage-gated sodium ion channels of insect nerve cells, irreversibly blocking nerve impulse transmission in the insect's body, destroying nerve impulse transmission, resulting in insect movement disorder, inability to eat, paralysis and eventual death.
