Properties

Chlormequat Chloride is white crystals. It smells like Fish stench, easy deliquescence. Its melting point is 238-242ºC. It can soluble in water, the concentration of saturated aqueous solution at room temperature up to about 80%. It is insoluble in benzene, xylene, ethanol but soluble in alcohol. Stable in neutral or slightly acidic medium, the heating can be decomposed in alkaline medium.
